Log Splitter
Due to the popularity of wood burning stoves Evans and Reid have developed a range of log
splitters to fit on your excavator.
The first can split logs 500mm long with a pressure of 10 tonnes (at 200 bar circuit pressure)
The second can split logs of 1000mm long with a pressure of 16 tonnes (at 200 bar circuit
pressure)
These also have speed control valves, which allow them to be used with all the various machine
ranges.
They can both be fitted with a splitting head which can either cut the log in half, or into quarters.
We also offer the option of a hydraulic ram guard if required.
These are suitable for excavators from 2 tonnes to 13 tonnes in weight, fitted with double acting
hydraulic circuits.
